We’re excited to represent and help promote your historic accommodation. Every historic property is unique, and our role is to present your property’s best features through storytelling & sharing your images in a way that will attract readers to your accommodation. People who love history appreciate an interesting backstory - so if you have any insights about the history of your property, please share that with us.
We can’t wait to showcase your accommodation to our readers, and the sooner you’re able to complete our quick onboarding process, the faster we can prioritise & schedule your listing. Here are our three easy onboarding steps:
Step One
Kindly pay your invoice that has been emailed to you directly (bank details included on invoice). Your prompt payment is appreciated and allows us to schedule your feature and begin researching and writing.
Step Two
Complete the property information form below, to capture the details you’d like our readers to know about. We think the little details are important, and always write beyond a standard listing. We’ll aim to include as much information as you provide within a 4 - 5 paragraph article.
Step Three
Email us a link to Dropbox or Google Drive folder containing your high resolution photos. Email link to: hello@historicstays.com.au
We will choose up to 20 photos for your feature page (you’ll be given the opportunity to review your feature page for any photo changes).
Note on photos: we require photos of minimum 1MB or greater. Please include several portrait (vertical layout) photos for us. Portrait layouts get a better response on social media.
We will save your images for future social media promotions during your paid promotional period. Should you choose to leave Historic Stays and do not wish to renew your listing, we will delete your images from our database.

Next Steps
Once you’ve completed the above, we will be in touch via email to confirm receipt of payment and your scheduled ‘go live’ date on our website & social media. We will also send through the link to your feature page for your review, prior to your launch date.
During Your 12 Month Subscription
Feel free to email us at hello@historicstays.com.au with any queries during your 12 month subscription period. Some people have professional photos taken - if you have new photos, email us a link to them & we can update your feature listing at no cost. If you have last-minute availability, let us know via email or Instagram messaging, and we can share this with our followers. Additionally, if you have any upcoming special events or accommodation offers (eg. during your off-season), we’re also happy to promote these via our social media platforms.
