Welcome to Historic Stays!

We’re excited to represent and help promote your historic accommodation. Guest experience and amenities aside, a key point of difference your property will always have is its unique history. If you have any information about the history of your property, please share this in the form below.

Here are our three easy onboarding steps:

Step One

Kindly pay your invoice that has been emailed to you directly (bank details included on invoice). Your prompt payment is appreciated and allows us to schedule work on your feature.

Step Two

Complete the property information form below, to capture all details you’d like us to mention. We aim to include as much information as possible within a 400 - 500 word article. Once we complete your feature, you will have the opportunity to review content. Note we write original and authentic content, with a focus on SEO keywords and visibility in AI and web searches.

Step Three

Email us a link to your Dropbox or Google Drive folder of photos to: hello@historicstays.com. We will choose up to 20 photos for your feature page. Photo size must be between 300kB to 1MB. Please resize high-resolution photos before sending. Ideally, send us your full set of photos, as this gives us flexibility in promoting your property during the year.

Portrait (vertical) photos are important - if you have these please include. Portrait images are best for social media. We post in 4:5 layout wherever possible.

During Your Annual Subscription

Should you have new photos taken during the year, please share these via email - new imagery is always beneficial, as it helps provide fresh perspectives of your accommodation. If you have last-minute availability, let us know and we can share with our audience. Should you have any upcoming special events or offers, we can also promote these via social media.

Please list original period features throughout the property, eg. windows/doors, fireplaces, flooring/staircase, high ceilings/cornices. Please detail materials used (eg. marble fireplace, cedar woodwork, cast iron lacework)

How many bedrooms are available and what configuration? Maximum guests? Any special bedding used? Is a cot available?

Any specific features about the living and dining space, kitchen, and bathroom/s that you would like mentioned?

Any special bathroom features? Do you include any bathroom products, if so, any special brand?

Is breakfast included? If so, please detail breakfast inclusions. Anything else stocked in the kitchen for guests? (eg. olive oil, milk, preserves)

Any other little extras included? (eg. Bottle of wine, homemade treats)

Any specific features of the outdoor space you would like included?

If it was raining all day, how would you enjoy spending your time in your property?

What would be your top suggestions of nearby attractions in the town/region, including any historic places of interest?

Guest Review - please provide a genuine guest review you have received, if you would like us to include one (no more than 1-2 sentences).. If not, or you are only just launching your accommodation, just leave blank.

Would you like us to promote an Exclusive Offer? If so, please advise what extra inclusion you’re happy to provide, when guests book and mention Historic Stays. You can specify terms - minimum 2+ or 3+ nights. Properties typically offer 10% discount, bottle of wine, cheese platter upon arrival etc. If you'd like to set a booking code eg 'HISTORICSTAYS' that applies a rate discount, or guest receives an extra inclusion, please let us know below and we will promote.
